Every day, except in bad weather (or strong mistral winds), there's an apéritif with the most beautiful view of Marseille at the foot of Notre Dame de la Garde. It starts from the end of April. There's a food truck on site, but the queue is long and it's expensive. Perfect for having a drink.

Bouillabaisse is a specialty of Marseille. It is a fish soup served with croutons and rouille, followed by fish served on a plate. There are many restaurants where it is excellent (Le Rhul, Chez Michel, Fonfon, Le Miramar, L'Epuisette). It is better to be hungry as it is very filling and quite expensive (count between 50 and 80 € per person, more at L'Epuisette). You need to book ahead.

Here too, you will enjoy an authentic and traditional bouillabaisse, with a sea view in addition, in this beautiful establishment overlooking the corniche. Book as well!
