In the heart of the 8th arrondissement, between the ports of Pointe Rouge and Madrague de Montredon, Montredon is a residential area that is strongly oriented towards nature, with its sandy beaches, rocky coves and immediate access to the Calanques National Park. You will benefit from a relaxing, quiet and secure environment while remaining close to the city center of Marseille. All local shops are within a 5-minute walk, as well as numerous restaurants. Several sandy beaches are located right next to the apartment (the Sablettes and Bonne Brise beaches are only 5 minutes away). A 15-minute walk away, the family-friendly beach of Pointe Rouge (perfect for young children because of its gentle slope) and its animation, will offer you the possibility to try sea kayaking, paddleboarding or renting a boat. Many beach restaurants and bars are also present there. For hiking departures, simply go up the Boulevard de la Grotte Rolland or enter the Parc Pastré to access the Calanques National Park.
The apartment is located on the 2nd floor of a small 3-story building. It is east-west facing and consists of 2 rooms for a total area of 36 m² and a balcony of 4 m². The east-facing bedroom has a view of the hills of the Calanques National Park. In the main room, facing west, the bay window has been replaced and enlarged to showcase the magnificent sea view without any opposite since it overlooks the gardens of the residence. It extends onto a balcony from where you can observe the sea, sunsets and all of Marseille (the Frioul Islands, Pointe de Malmousque, Notre Dame de la Garde, the Orange Vélodrome Stadium as well as the Cité Radieuse to the right). The apartment was completely renovated in 2020 with oak flooring, radiant electric heaters and a fully equipped kitchen. It can accommodate 4 people.

In the bedroom, there is a large bed of 160 x 200, with a firm mattress and slatted bed base.
In the living room, there is a sofa bed with a daily sleeping function and a high-density foam mattress of 140 x 190.
Bed linen (sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases) is provided.

Brand new fully equipped open kitchen on the living room: induction hob, oven, hood, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, electric kettle, toaster, and everything you need for cooking.
Basic products are provided.

Functional bathroom with a heated towel rail, shower, sink and mirror.

Localisation et access
Closest bus lines: GROTTE ROLLAND stop (lines 19 and 583). Line 19 serves Pointe Rouge, the Prado beaches, Prado Roundabout and the Orange Vélodrome Stadium, and terminates at Castellane. Line 583 is active in the evening and at night, serving the Bourse center near the Canebière.
Arriving by car: from the A7, take the direction of Vieux Port, Prado Carénage tunnel, then Prado Sud tunnel. Go down Avenue du Prado until David then turn left along the sea towards Les Goudes. At the entrance of Montredon, take Boulevard de la Verrerie then the first left, traverse Bronzet. Free and easy parking is available in the residence and adjacent streets.
Arriving by public transport: from St Charles station, take metro M2 towards Ste Marguerite Dromel. Get off at Rond Point du Prado, from where you can take bus 19 towards Madrague de Montredon, and get off at Grotte Rolland stop.
Nearby beaches: Anse des Sablettes (sand) 5 minutes walk, Plage de la Bonne Brise 5 minutes walk, Plage de l'Abricotier 8 minutes walk (Cabanon de Paulette to eat and drink facing the sea, with your feet in the sand), Plage du Bain des Dames, Port and Plage de Pointe Rouge 15 minutes walk (sandy beach, water activities, boat rental, restaurants, bars, shops, RTM maritime shuttles to the Vieux Port and Les Goudes in season), Port de la Madrague de Montredon 10 minutes walk (restaurants, shops).
